Welcome One Wisconsin Phantoms
One Wisconsin is very excited to announce that we are working with West Side Slam to create a new satellite location – One Wisconsin Phantoms. West Side Slam has done a great job of providing club volleyball to West De Pere and other local athletes that is cost effective and multi-sport friendly. We’re looking forward to keeping that tradition going in the coming years.
One Wisconsin Phantoms will attempt to maintain the current practice location of West Side Slam. This new partnership will offer the things you’ve come to expect fro
m West Side Slam and some of the additional benefits of playing for One Wisconsin. One Wisconsin is a League One Volleyball (LOVB) club. This provides access to a wealth of resources for our athletes and coaches including best-in-class coach development programs, a holistic approach to athlete training, the opportunity to learn from and interact with LOVB Pros through virtual workshops and in-person clinics, and more.
League One Volleyball (LOVB, pronounced “love”) is one holistic volleyball ecosystem, from club to pro. LOVB champions every stage of an athlete’s journey: from introducing and developing young players, to creating opportunities for athletes to play in college and pro. Later this year, we are launching a pro league that will feature some of the very best players in the world, including several of the American gold medalists from the last Olympics.
In the coming weeks West Side Slam and One Wisconsin staff will be working together on next season’s layout including tryout dates and times, a tune-up date, and season information including fees, team formats, coaching assignments, and more! We will be hosting summer tryouts for One Wisconsin Phantoms. More information will be shared soon about this. In the meantime you can see our FAQ’s about summer tryouts here.
